Different?

What fascinates me about this photo is the unity and contrast. One is white, the other black. One wears a hat, a chèche, a backpack, glasses, in short, sunglasses, so that you have what you need if… The other one has his shirt on his back and you can guess the cord that holds the official translator-guide badge, in short, nothing is missing.

One is leaning forward with his hands on his hips, as if he were tired, carrying such a heavy weight… The other is straight as an « i », stiff and straight neck, nothing and no one can ever crush him.

But both of them are bearded and look in the same direction: the boats in the port and further out to sea.

They are culturally completely different, but without telling each other, they agree on one thing: to be, you have to know how to leave – or welcome what comes from afar – and there is no truth in standing still.

These two, which everything seems to oppose, are united in at least one thing: the truth is not in immobility. They are revolutionaries.
