Between shade and sun, the small panel is planted there, with charm and delicacy, in the middle of the freshly mowed lawn. Beyond, it is the unknown, not the private or forbidden corner, as is often the case in many gardens, but rather the corner reserved for the good life, for intimacy, the corner for the personal garden.

Just before, on the left, is the « Bisentina », that small house that our travelers fell in love with.

A small corner of paradise for biodiversity. In a monochrome of ochre and parma tones, a few flowers invite themselves to the patio. Just enough to give depth to the field, and just enough to create the charm of the place.

A large hydrangea comes to provide just enough shade on the patio to enjoy the novels carried in the luggage.

From the patio, the view is over the lake of Bolsena and Capodimonte. This view would bring calm to the most agitated and provides immediate relief to those who still know how to let themselves be bewitched by the old stones. The mind is carried away and is quickly taken over by the beauty of the landscape. The old walls and the vegetation, which together plunge into the deep blue waters of Lake Bolsena, captivate the eye.

It’s time for some to dive into the waters of the lake. Let the body penetrate the water and surrender to this beneficial pleasure. Swim, let yourself be carried away by the water, which is in turn refreshing and invigorating. Admire the infinite palette of green and blue colors of the vegetation, which is reflected in the bluish waters of the lake. A palette that none of the world’s greatest painters would even dare to dream of, so indescribable is the range.

In the background on the left is the old port of Marta, the one where the local fishermen meet. It is the one with the old boats and not the one with the pleasure boats. The one from which the boats leave at dawn to go fishing for whitefish and other fish from the lake. Here we don’t skimp on colors, it is a four-color festival.

On the edge of the lake, a swan takes the time for a nap. It knows it is quiet in the middle of old fishermen who have fun waving a stuffed dog to surprise passers-by. It is now time to relax, it is hot and the bodies need rest.

The louvers close, sometimes leaving a gap to give the drafts a chance.

Some people sip a limone on the terrace of a café to refresh themselves.

Everything invites you to have fun and above all to take your time.

In the fairy garden, time is also on pause.

The gardener’s hut is now deserted and invites to meditation. It carries the walkers away under its old-fashioned charm.

Nearby, basil gives off a soothing scent. Just a little farther away, figs burst with bright red color and flavors.

Higher still, the tender green beans draw an imaginary alphabet and play with the barely blooming flowers.

The grass has just been mowed and it smells like chlorophyll. The space thus drawn, invites to cabrioles and morning yoga sessions.

In the middle of the vegetable garden, a path invites travelers to venture a little further.

The eye is drawn to the saffron-colored sunflowers exploding under the sun.

We can see up there, at the top of the path, an arbor decorated with light garlands. Under the arbor, the furniture is simple and repainted in shades that lead to relaxation. Small bouquets of wild flowers are placed on each table. Visitors feel awaited, welcome… The care taken with the smallest detail already says a lot about the meetings that will take place under the arbor… Because here a revolution is being played out and many battles are already won over the future… Like a foretaste of a world to come. A revolution to be discovered in future blog articles….
