One day, one elsewhere n° 7
Every day, you can find a relaxed morning to keep your mind open to the world by subscribing to the blog. All you have to do is click on the blue banner at the bottom of the article!

Dilemma, this morning, which dock are we going to use? The one on the right in the sun or the one on the left in the shade? The choice is yours…

Both the right and the left quay will lead us to the Grand Canal. Where majestic buildings are reflected on the waters that sway from peacock blue to Egyptian blue to midnight blue.

Then appreciate the harmony that emanates from these old Palazzi and imagine for a moment the life, behind these walls, a few centuries ago.

Wander silently through the small streets, which offer us a debauchery of ochre tones, and then lead to a canal or… to another canal. Remain motionless for a few moments and notice that there is no car noise. Everything is peaceful, everything is calm. Only a few very old buildings stand in the canal to make sure they still have charm.

Arriving at stop 14, land and wait in the company of a stowaway who is also watching from the top of his stake for the arrival of the vaporetto.

Go down a little further to buy a bouquet of flowers at Da Fiore and admire once again the dividing line, between light and shade, on the waters of the canal.

Pass under the arches, take shelter from the sun and be seized by the serenity of the place.

Walk a little more and, to start the day, go and enjoy a cappuccino, ristretto or caffe con pana, depending on your mood, in the magnificent Piazza San Marco, just before getting lost in the crowd.
