« One day, one discovery »: a journey to meet beautiful people and towards more light for sunshine in 2021 ! Open door to encounters! D-20″

For the past few days, they had been taking the time to travel by train. They had been waiting in the station cafés and were hoping to find a bit of freshness by standing next to the window grills.

IThey were stunned to discover the work in progress on the tracks. It was announced that day that the train was being postponed for a few hours, the number of hours remaining undefined.

While she was tasting a spicy chai, he walked over to the quay to check on the progress of the work.

He noticed that the work in progress was under the leadership of a young engineer.

He listened to the meetings that were going well, without understanding a word of the exchanges that were taking place a few metres away from him, but he was amused.

Together they decided to learn to take time as it comes.

They waited, in the ambient humidity, distracting themselves from the comings and goings of the colourful crowd.

They admired the long interminable trains that passed at regular intervals on the other tracks.

Little by little they learned to find their way between the different kinds of wagons. The yellow ones for people with different abilities …

The turquoise blues with glass or grid, each corresponding to a particular class.

A train as long as an endless snake now stretched out in front of them, it was 18212, the one that was to lead them a little further south, into the backwaters. Now they had to search for the right car and then get on board and find their seats.

As soon as she sat down, she began to enjoy the little hand-knitted baskets to hang the travellers’ water bottles. The train started to shake and she said: « Go back, look, we are leaving the station where we stayed for about 4 hours and we didn’t see it go by. Look at the Chaïwala jumping off the moving train, because they won’t be part of the journey.

He, for his part, had fun discovering the huge fans arranged all along the wagon.

They finally arrived in Perumpally and were immediately immersed in a different atmosphere. A fisherman was sailing peacefully in the middle of the lake.

He had so much happiness in his eyes that they decided to spend a few days there to try to unravel this mystery.

Sitting on the terrace for a moment and trying to understand the keys to this happiness glimpsed by a flash of lightning in his deep gaze.

Choosing to watch him live in his daily life so different from theirs.

A daily newspaper that questioned their looks and mentalities of Westerners so accustomed to doing everything faster and faster.

Wonder at the hands that grabbed the net, threw it, pulled it and pulled it endlessly out of the water, for days on end.

Get excited to see him paddling with his wooden pole.

Admire him when he was resting in serenity…

…that he took the time to have a snack…

… to quench your thirst…

… to change its orientation boat…

… to water it …

.… and paddle quietly again.

To savour with him this moment, when at the end of the afternoon, at the end of a day’s fishing, he reached the shore. The life lesson was now integrated, they had finally understood that it is good to take the time to live!
